It has become necessary to recognize modern educational methods, as they have an effective impact on improving the quality of teaching and learning, as traditional methods are no longer able to meet the needs of education, as the wheel of development has become very fast, and it is necessary not to waste time and waste learning time by following methods that have shown their limitations.

Modern and effective teaching methods have enabled the learner today to access, understand and apply information, by simulating the reality inside the classroom, evoking the characteristics of the society to which the learner belongs and practicing to face all situations and prepare for new situations, by empowering the learner with various means to face the real reality and develop this reality and advance it for the better.

This is the goal of the teaching-learning process that seeks to create a school that is open to its surroundings, by bringing the community into the heart of the school and creating a school full of life by moving from passive teaching to active teaching and from receiving to self-learning.

Mutual learning:

It is an innovative teaching methodology that seeks to establish a link between the formal and informal contexts of education. Thus, mutual learning in preschool education seeks to create links between school content and everyday learning, i.e. it aims to link the curriculum to experiences that occur outside the school setting.

Mutual learning goals:

Mutual learning has a variety of goals:

- Mutual learning helps children develop cognitive and social abilities and skills. It aims to integrate children among themselves and with the educator.

- The child acquires new information and skills of thinking and expression.

- Developing children's expression and dialog skills.

The importance of mutual learning:

Mutual learning is an attractive teaching methodology for children, as linking educational content to content closer to the child is a way to attract their attention and interest in learning, as some educational activities can become more enjoyable if they are linked to the child's daily practices, such as trips, visiting museums, exhibitions and theaters, and from these diverse situations and experiences, the child can interpret a range of things in light of the knowledge gained from school.

Advantages of the mutual learning strategy:

It facilitates the teaching-learning process through the exchange of information between the school and social environment and enables the development of the child's abilities.

- Mutual learning makes it possible to know the extent of children's understanding and comprehension and their success in accomplishing the task.

- A positive reflection on the development of the child's personality by enhancing self-confidence and overcoming fear, anxiety and shyness when speaking in front of everyone.

The role of the educator in applying the mutual learning strategy:

- Support the child and help him/her overcome difficulties.

- Taking into account the level of children during the preparation and implementation of the learning process.

- Giving the educator an opportunity for the child to express and exchange dialog.

- Participate in building educational situations for children.

- Prepare appropriate activities that are consistent with the mutual learning strategy.

The method of mutual learning can be used effectively through outings, trips, investing in parties and holidays attended by children, for example:

- The educator poses an issue to the children and defines the problematic question beforehand, which must be clear and understandable.

- Then, the children are allowed to form their own opinion about this question through an event, whether it is a trip to the museum or another event.

- The goal would be to gather as much feedback as possible.

- For example, after an excursion, the class will share the results of the excursion and exchange ideas and information, making it possible to create new knowledge, without necessarily going through traditional education.

- This method of course gives the opportunity to deepen some concepts and introduce other ideas, and the children will learn from each other.

Conclusion:

Mutual learning, along with many other learning strategies, activates children's thinking by linking the child's learning in school to everyday experiences, thus promoting discussions between educators and children because this strategy develops many of the skills and abilities on which children's learning is based.
